Involvement in Missions

Missions is also about you, too!  By learning more about the work our ministry partners are doing, and by participating through prayer, giving, service projects and traveling to work along-side our missionaries, God will work in you and change you. He will give you a glimpse of His heart for you and a view of His love for the world through you.

Living Missionally

We encourage every believer to engage in practices of noticing, praying and listening to our neighbors. We create opportunities for connecting, serving with and sharing the Gospel to our neighbors, coworkers and family.

International Missions

We provide support to more than thirty families or individuals serving in eighteen countries. Approximately one-fourth of our total church budget goes to direct support of missionaries and mission agencies. Our church has a deep commitment to missions. Missions is an extension of the goals of the church as a whole, to Discover Christ and Display His Transforming Power.  We partner with a diverse team of career missionaries and ministry organizations in Asia, Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Together, our partners are changing the world for the Gospel through meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the people they are called to serve.

Communication with Missionary Partners

We regularly communicate with our partners through correspondence, telephone and personal contact. Look for  a monthly summary of prayer letters and mission information for our congregation published in the VOICE.

Hands On Missions

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.  Hebrews 10:23-25

Partnership Uganda Team:

We desire to live as Jesus in our world. We are on a missional journey, intentionally following God’s lead in reaching the people He has placed all around us. We follow the promptings of the Spirit; searching for where God is active in our communities and throughout the world. We join Him as He seeks out the lost, the harassed, the abandoned, and the complacent.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20
